Many General Hospital fans will remember that although Laura Wright’s Carly raised Morgan, it was Tamara Braun’s Carly that gave birth to Carson’s “sweet little boy.”

Braun has been in and out of the soap biz since leaving the role of Carly more than a decade ago, having played Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives just this year. However, Twitter apparently had to let her know that her GH son was no more (well, until the show recasts, IF they recast).

Fans have been praising the GH writers and performers for the way Morgan’s death rocked Port Charles this week, and Braun apparently spotted a tweet that surprised her. It turns out she had no idea Morgan died. It might be a funny feeling to realize the baby birth you acted out onscreen culminated in the character’s death as a young adult.
