It was a hot rumor a few weeks ago and now actress Tamara Braun has confirmed the General Hospital (GH) news we were all hoping to hear.
The Emmy winner is headed back to GH, but not as Carly Corinthos (now played by Laura Wright), whom she portrayed from 2001-2005, but rather as a new character, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Her first airdate will be November 22, but there aren’t any confirmed details about who’ll she’ll be playing this time around, though it’s believed she’ll be tied to the return of Steve Burton (Patient 6) in some way.
Braun’s been very busy since leaving GH. She went on to play a pivotal character named Reese on All My Children from 2008-2009, and she won an Emmy for her work as Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives, which she played from 2008 until she was killed off in 2016.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
