Sybil the Psychic Predicts the Future: Nathan’s Upcoming Enemy

It’s been a shocking week for one of Port Charles’ finest, Detective Nathan West, but I – Sybil the Psychic – plan to look into his General Hospital future to see what’s ahead.

By examining the tea leaves, the stars, and laying out the cards, I plan to predict what’s coming up for Nathan (Ryan Paevey). But I make no promises, because let’s face it – it’s not an exact science (and I’m not really that…talented). Okay, it’s time to dig in.

Near Future
The crystal ball reveals that Nathan has a daughter whose life remains at great risk. Sure, she has a crazy mother in Claudette (Bree Williamson), but it goes deeper than that. I can’t see exactly why, but perhaps one of the cards will reveal it. He is surrounded by love – two women. One is a lover and one is a relative…possibly a sister, possibly a cousin, but the ball is a bit cloudy on that one.

A Few Weeks Down the Line
The tea leaves reveal a mysterious man in his daughter’s future – a man who may want to do the girl harm. This man has been involved with both the girl’s mother and the girl’s aunt/sister…she’s no longer cloudy….her name is Nina (Michelle Stafford) I think… It appears that this man is a relation to Nathan, perhaps a cousin of some sort. He has delusions of grandeur and feels that Nathan’s daughter is in the way of his getting what he feels is due him. How far he’ll go is a bit murky, but it is probably best to expect the worst.

Long Forecast
The card chosen for Nathan (Ryan Paevey) out of the Tarot deck is The Tower. It is dark and foreboding. The Tower represents abrupt change, perhaps the daughter will be coming to live with him. It could mean conflict is coming to a head in his life and relationships will need to be reevaluated. It doesn’t mean they will end, but the future should be bright – one way or the other.
