Little Serena Baldwin is more than all grown up and returning to Port Charles and General Hospital (GH) this week for a special–yet sad–occasion.
Carly Schroeder returns to the role she originated at just six years old when Serena arrives in town to say goodbye to her grandfather, Lee Baldwin.
Actor Peter Hansen passed away in April and this week, General Hospital characters say goodbye to the character he created back in 1965.
GH tweeted a pic of Schroeder on-set Sunday afternoon, with Lynn Herring (Lucy), Jon Lindstrom (Kevin), and Kin Shriner (Scott).
Serena has not been seen on-screen since 2003 and we only knew she’d been living in France with Kevin and Lucy during her teenage years. She remained abroad when Kevin and Lucy returned to town, but Lucy occasionally mentions visiting her.
Here’s hoping this is more than just a brief stay as Schroeder is all grown up now (26!) and can certainly serve as a love interest for any number of eligible PC young men. (Or even the ones who aren’t eligible.)
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. Win exclusive member-only GH spoilers, prizes, and more: sign up here! Also, join the conversation on our Facebook page.
