Stay A While: Should Britt Stick Around General Hospital?

General Hospital is never dull while Britt is around – even without her nutso, cuckoo dad and simultaneously pathetic and pathological mom.

During her relatively brief time on the canvas, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) borrowed an embryo in order to trap Patrick (Jason Thompson), helped Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) fake a kidnapping, and now she’s an accessory after the fact to Brad’s (Parry Shen) illegal possession of Wiley/Jonah.

Is there more story still to tell with Britt, and should she stick around Port Charles – and out of the slammer? Here’s how almost 4,000 viewers feel about that.

Being Britt
For sure, 69% cheer! Britt has lots of connections on the canvas. With Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and Faison (Anders Hove) gone, Britt can bond more with her cousin Nina (Michelle Stafford) and nephew James.

Plus, Brad seriously needs a BFF to talk to as he sinks deeper and deeper into a web of lies every day, making it harder for him to extricate himself.

Especially since Britt’s mama is one of the few people who can blow the lid off Brad and Lucas’s (Ryan Adams) happy home. Brad needs Britt for damage control, and Britt needs someone to love her unconditionally, the way no one else ever has.

Be Gone, Britt
Go away, Britt, 31% of the audience counters, nobody needs or wants you. You aren’t good enough for any of the men on the canvas, and you never will be. Even Brad can do better when it comes to friends.

What makes you think you could ever be forgiven for your crimes against Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dante? It’s not like Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) also stole Lulu’s child and is still around.

Or there’s a serial killer living with a mom of three young boys. Or the many, many mobsters now running pubs and galleries and…still mobstering. You, Britt, are unforgivable!
