On Thursday’s General Hospital, we finally find out what’s going on with Rocco and Britt. We haven’t seen them since they left town. Unfortunately for Rocco, he’s about to make a horrifying discovery, according to the spoilers for June 18.
Key Takeaways
- Rocco resurfaces and faces a horrifying discovery involving Britt.
- Sidwell sets a trap as his time on the run continues.
- Dante turns to Elizabeth for support amid growing pressure.
- Laura makes an offer, and Sonny shares his strategy with Ric.
Rocco Resurfaces
It has been weeks since Rocco (Finn Carr) left town with Britt and his fake passport. Through Charlotte (Bluesy Burke), he got word to Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna, who’s loving the material that he’s been getting lately) that he was safe. But other than that, nothing. Brick (Stephen A. Smith) has been out there trying to track them down on Sonny’s request. But apparently, Britt’s fugitive skills are expert, and they haven’t been caught as of yet.
However, Rocco’s about to make a horrifying discovery. GH’s weekly video preview shows an unconscious Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). We don’t know why or how. It could mean her Huntington’s symptoms are back in full force. Leaving town meant being cut off from the meds that kept those symptoms at bay. This emergency situation means that Rocco has to make a desperate phone call for help. Who does he call? Is life on the road suddenly over?
Sidwell Sets a Trap
Someone else living their best fugitive life is Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Ever since he shot Lucas (Van Hansis) point-blank in the chest (thankfully, he wore a bulletproof vest), the shady businessman has been on the run. Cassius ensured his escape, and now the crime lord is about to make a move of his own. He lays a trap. Who does he hope will walk right into it?
Dante Confides in Elizabeth
Dante is getting it from all sides professionally and personally. He has to deal with a relentless Justine (Nazneen Contractor) while Chase (Josh Swickard) continues to take Willow’s side, and “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) lies about who he is and what he’s done, including letting Sidwell escape. Meanwhile, one of his sons is a fugitive after Lulu secured a fake passport and had her own plans to take Rocco on the run without Dante.
There are two positive aspects to his life right now. He’s getting along with Gio (Giovanni Mazza) — the two are growing closer. And there’s his connection with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). The two have been supporting each other more and more these days. So it should be no surprise to anyone that he will once again confide in Elizabeth on Thursday.
Sonny Strategizes with Ric
While Laura (Genie Francis) makes an offer, Sonny (Maurice Benard) shares his strategy with Ric (Rick Hearst, who reveals why Ric is finally worth taking a chance on). This strategy could involve a plan to tackle their continued Sidwell problem. Sonny did his best to set a trap for Sidwell. And it worked…until it didn’t. And now the vicious criminal is out there, and he needs to be dealt with. Whatever Sonny’s strategy involves, Ric will be honest with his brother as to whether the plan is viable.
