General Hospital spoilers for the Tuesday, May 21 episode focus on characters doing a lot of pleading. Alexis pleads her case while Kristina pleads to Michael. Meanwhile, Sonny pleads for Dante’s help.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has languished in the world of journalism for far too long. She is so close to getting her law license back and returning to what she loves: being a lawyer. What stands in her way is a legal hearing to fix what she lost. Thankfully, she’s on the wagon, has the will to fight, and has Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) on her side.
Alexis and Diane prepare to present their case. They’ll have to face Fergus Byrne (Lane Davies), an attorney who just so happens to be Neil Byrne’s brother. Neil (Joe Flanigan) is Alexis’s former psychiatrist and, oh yeah, her boyfriend. Will this be a contentious face-off? What kind of legal superpowers will Alexis and Diane have to exhibit to get Alexis reinstated?
On Tuesday, father and daughter are in a begging mood. First, look for Kristina (Kate Mansi) to plead with Michael (Chad Duell). What does she need from him? The truth about why he and Sonny are at odds? Or something else entirely?
As for Sonny (Maurice Benard), he clearly is in a bad place. There’s no way he can deny what he did at the reception, which is sure to have legal consequences. Maybe that’s why he turns to Dante for help. What does he think Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) can do for him? Help him figure out why he’s behaving in such an erratic way? Or does he want his son to help him escape trouble with the law? This is exactly why Dante tried to turn his badge into Anna (Finola Hughes). He didn’t want to be in this position. What’s he going to do? Is this the perfect time for a tough love approach, or will he try to take it easy on Sonny?
A battered Dex (Evan Hofer) has a big decision to make. Should he press charges against Sonny? Is that what he’s contemplating or angsting over? Plenty of people will probably tell him to do it, including Joss (Eden McCoy) and Anna. If it’s not about charging his former employer with assault, is he still debating whether he should become a cop or not? He seems to be digging that police life—so far, anyway.
Finally, Finn (Michael Easton) faces a difficult task. Will this involve coming to terms with why he’s faltering in the sobriety department? Or does something else happen that brings him to the brink? (Go behind the scenes of Brook Lynn and Chase’s recent wedding here)
