Ava Has an Interesting Proposition for Drew
Ava and Drew’s collaboration has been successful so far. Dysfunctional, dramatic, and chaotic, but successful. Ultimately, they did take care of Brennan (Chris McKenna). Just not the way they had hoped. And it became much more trouble than they thought it would. It involved dragging Brennan’s dead body to the Nature Preserve, where they had to dig a grave and bury him in it.
Of course, Nina (Cynthia Watros) became the perfect patsy for this particular crime. She’s currently cooling her heels in WSB’s go-to prison, Steinmauer. Ava (Maura West) doesn’t agree with this part of Drew’s plan, but she’s not exactly clearing Nina’s name, is she?
Additionally, Ava and Drew (Cameron Mathison) have successfully created trouble for Sonny. They framed him for ordering Sidwell’s prison beating. It doesn’t matter that Sonny (Maurice Benard) didn’t actually do it. Much of Port Charles doesn’t believe that he didn’t do this, because this hit screams Sonny Corinthos.
Ava must be feeling herself, because on Thursday, she pitches a new target to Drew. Who will Ava and Drew turn their attention to next? And who will ultimately stop them?
Carly Stands By Sonny When Almost No One Else Will
Sonny has taken some hits since Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) ended up in the hospital. The relationship between Sonny and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is broken. Gio (Giovanni Mazza) is doubting his grandfather. Justine (Nazneen Contractor) told him they were over.
It doesn’t matter what he says. There are people who refuse to believe he’s innocent. He does have his allies, however. He still has Ric (Rick Hearst) and Jason (Steve Burton). And he will have Carly (Laura Wright), who will show her support for her ex-husband.
Lulu’s Article Causes Quite a Stir
This week, Lulu (Alexa Havins) temporarily set aside the drama involving sending Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) to boarding school. Instead, she put on her reporter’s hat, and she infiltrated Sidwell’s room at GH. She wanted to get an exclusive interview with him to get the story behind his beatdown.
Sidwell (Carlo Rota) had no problem opening up to Lulu. He started singing and ended up mentioning Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), saying she’s one of the guilty people walking around town free as a bird. Lulu perked up when she heard that name. She subsequently hit record on her phone to get further details on what Sidwell knew about Congresswoman Willow Tait.
On Thursday, Lulu’s article makes waves. Will her story expose Willow’s crimes? This article may or may not be the reason why Chase (Josh Swickard) is suddenly throwing down the gauntlet. This could be about Willow, or it’s still about Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), who has finally decided to wake up and fight for herself.
Curtis is Blindsided
Finally, Curtis became collateral damage when those thugs showed up to rough up Sidwell. While he’s hoping that Willow will pull strings to get him out of prison, those wishes might go up in smoke if/when Willow’s own crimes are exposed. Maybe that’s the shock he receives on Thursday. If not, who or what will leave Curtis reeling?
