This Week on General Hospital
The Fallout of the Pentonville Ambush
Ric (Rick Hearst) gives a report — presumably to Sonny (Maurice Benard) — about what just went down at Pentonville. “Jenz and Curtis were just transferred to GH. They were beaten within an inch of their lives.”
We see Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) walking into a hospital room. Neither Sidwell (Carlo Rota) nor Curtis (Donnell Turner) is looking good, especially Jenz.
Justine (Nazneen Contractor) pays a visit to the roughed-up inmates. “Who was behind it?” the ADA inquires. “Who do you think?” Sidwell responds bitterly.
Justine isn’t going to wait. She goes straight to the potential person of interest behind this attack. After all, the thugs even said this beating came courtesy of Sonny Corinthos before they left, which is super suspicious. Why would Sonny take public accountability for this beatdown? Needless to say, Justine wants answers.
“I want you to look me in the eye when you tell me if you were behind it,” she demands as Sonny looks like a deer in headlights. If Sonny didn’t do this, who did? Somebody who has made it their mission to take Sonny down?
It’s Danny Versus Rocco
Before Dante says, “They’re not sure if he’s going to make it,” with a split screen of Curtis and Jenz, the promo slides in a quick shot of a completely different storyline. Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) punches Rocco (Finn Carr).
According to the teasers, Rocco delivers bad news to the brother he has been out of sync with for months. Danny is unaware of just how badly Charlotte’s (Bluesy Burke) scheme blew up. And he has no idea that he’s about to lose his best friend to a boarding school.
