Sam (Kelly Monaco) informed Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Jason (Steve Burton) about her plans to be Lulu’s donor, while Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) filled Cody (Josh Kelly) on the unexpected turn of events. After finding out that Lulu has a blood clot that could kill her in surgery, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) convinced Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) to be the surgeon. Holly (Emma Samms) finally saw Robert (Tristan Rogers) after he learned Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is his daughter, while Sasha confided in Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about her issues with her mother. Violet (Jophielle Love) said goodbye to Tracy (Jane Elliot) before leaving to be with her dad. Lucas (Van Hansis) realized there was something fishy about Lulu’s ventilator malfunctioning.

Maxie and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) visited Sam in the hospital, and Maxie later admitted to Spinelli that Lulu was still in love with Dante before her accident. Nina (Cynthia Watros) found out that Ava (Maura West) is beginning to fall for Ric (Rick Hearst). Curtis (Donnell Turner) threw a going away party for Marshall (Robert Gossett), and when Ric found out that Heather (Alley Mills) was being released, he showed up and broke the news to everyone. Anna (Finola Hughes) confronted Holly about her lie about Sasha before Holly paid an unexpected visit to Sonny (Maurice Benard. who recently reunited with a former co-star).

Sonny agreed to help Holly maneuver her diamonds. After Ric’s announcement, Portia (Brook Kerr) lashed out. When Molly (Kristen Vaganos) tried defending her father, TJ (Tajh Bellow) got upset with her. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer) left to give the Ashford family some space and spent the night together. Trina (Tabyana Ali) was shaken by the thought of Heather being released and went home to her apartment alone until Gio (Giovanni Mazza) showed up and offered to spend the night on the couch.

Sam got visits from everyone before she was brought in for the surgery. Just before, Jason showed up to wish her well. Meanwhile, Curtis tracked down Steve (Scott Reeves) to get Heather out of town once she’s released. When she got out of Pentonville, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) arrived to pick her up and that was when they both saw Steve. Brennan (Charles Mesure) insisted on Carly’s (Laura Wright) help in getting Jason to tell him everything he knows about what happened in Somalia, while Sonny filled Jason in on his plan to help Holly with her diamonds.

Elizabeth reunited with Steve, then he took Heather to Bobbie’s and convinced her to move to Arizona with him. Sasha arrived at Robert’s office and learned the DNA test results revealed she was his daughter. She went venting to Nina while Holly met Cody and tried convincing him to get out of town with a payday from her diamonds, but he refused. Robert sat with the information he had another daughter, then later broke the news to Diane. Anna and Laura caught up and Diane distracted Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) while they waited for updates on the surgeries.

Coming up in Port Charles, Stonecold and The Jackal will be back in action (after recently teasing their scenes together), while more drama will hit the Quartermaines and Sasha will navigate where things will go next.
