Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) broke it to Emma (Braedyn Bruner) that she didn’t get the assistant position, then told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) it was hers. Later, Emma showed up at his office and found Joss. After Portia (Brook Kerr) tried convincing Curtis (Donnell Turner) not to tear Drew (Cameron Mathison) down in the paper, he brought his suspicions to Jordan (Tanisha Harper). Chase (Josh Swickard) and Anna (Finola Hughes) practiced their Tango for the Nurses Ball, accompanied by Gio (Giovanni Mazza).

Lulu presented her theory about Gio to Carly (Laura Wright), who warned her to get proof before blowing up everyone’s lives. When Tracy asked Jason to find her great-grandson, he said he’d only do it if Brook Lynn asked. Later, Tracy rehearsed her Nurses Ball performance with Lucy (Lynn Herring), Anna, and Felicia (Kristina Wagner). Emma tore I to Joss for stealing her position with Dalton, then realized she was the one who corrupted her research. Meanwhile, Joss and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) searched Dalton’s office. Curtis confided in Jordan about Portia being less anti-Drew. Sonny told Laura (Genie Francis) his plan to sell Sidwell his piers and leave the business.

Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) told Carly and Jason that the custody hearing would be June 2, so Carly decided to stand in for Michael (Chad Duell). After Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was served, Drew brought in Ric (Rick Hearst) and decided they needed to paint Michael as an absentee father. Ric aso visited Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and she remembered him mentioning the brakes before their crash. Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) taunted Laura about Rocco (Finn Carr) and she threw a drink in his face. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) enlisted Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to find Ric’s car and he did. Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) fought to be released from GH in time for the Nurses Ball.

Alexis arrived at the storage space and only found a note for her, left by Ava (Maura West) and Ric. Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) also arrived and swapped information with Alexis, revealing he knows what Kristina did while she told him about the blackmail. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) confided in Lucas (Van Hansis) about pursuing a relationship with Lucky. Dante continued tearing into Gio, while Sonny offered a softer approach, assuring him he did nothing wrong. Brook Lynn hoped her son was having a happy birthday, unbeknownst to Gio that it was his birthday after he informed Donna (Scarlett Spears) he was born June 4th.

Portia vented to Ava about keeping a secret from Curtis, and Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) overheard their conversation. Assuming Drew is blackmailing his wife, Curtis straight up confronted Drew about it. Lulu and Cody did some digging into Gio’s birth and Brook Lynn’s records. Carly assured Sonny that she could handle the hearing, but Sonny decided to visit Willow to have a calm discussion about how to move forward.
