Halfway through this week, Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding takes over Port Charles. And there are a couple of stories here – one is what the visuals of the weekly promo are saying. The other is what the characters are saying.
It looks like things start calmly, and then events happen that potentially cause the big day to go off the rails.
Ned’s (Wally Kurth) presence has largely been absent from this lead-up to Brook Lynn’s wedding. He was at Chase’s bachelor party, but rest assured, the Father of the Bride is there to watch his daughter enter this new phase of her life.
Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) states, “Everything has to go off without a hitch.” In Soapland, this means the exact opposite. Any wedding goers and wedding crashers should be warned.
Right when Anna (Finola Hughes) says, “We’ve got trouble,” it looks like Finn (Michael Easton) is about to fall off the wagon. While this is trouble, there’s no way that’s what Anna is talking about. However, does Finn’s angst over his dad’s health end up with him doing something stupid?
An erratic Sonny shouts, “You know what I do to traitors?” as we see him spy Dex (Evan Hofer) from afar. Are these two things connected? After all, Sonny isn’t happy that the cop-in-training is suddenly on the right side of the law.
Who needs GH’s emergency services? And why does this weekly promo make sure to highlight Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)? Is that a clue? Does Pikeman end up crashing the party, or is something else happening here? And how does Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) health hold up during the festivities?
