Seeing is Believing
Legal days in court and maneuvers are front and center this week on GH.
Firstly, it’s Carly’s day in court. She faces those pesky RICO violations that Agent Cates (Adam Harrington) used as leverage over Jason (Steve Burton). After basically turning herself in, Jason’s free. But will Carly (Laura Wright) be able to skate without seeing prison time?
Secondly, the surrogacy story enters the toxic, messy phase as TJ (Tajh Bellow) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) serve Kristina (Kate Mansi). They want to ensure she signs those termination rights papers. Last week, Molly tried to get her sister to sign them herself. Since that didn’t work, the lawyer and the doctor subsequently decide to go through more official channels. Does TJ attempt to explain their actions to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn)?
Thirdly, the war between Ava (Maura West) and Sonny (Maurice Benard — who faces off with costar Scarlett Spiers) continues to escalate. Ms. Jerome knows that Sonny’s on the edge of going nuclear. Not only does she know his temper. She also knows that he’s vulnerable because he hasn’t been taking the right dose of his bipolar pills for months and months.
Whatever the team of Ava, Agent Cates, and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) cooks up, it works. Sonny suddenly goes into smash mode and takes a swing at Jagger. (Check out this week’s GH Comings & Goings here)
Finally, the Metro Court Hotel and pool area may be the scene of more drama. According to Gio (Giovanni Mazza), an accident happens. Does it involve Ava? Kristina? Who is Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) calling? And why does Brennan (Charles Mesure) pop up looking his normal dapper, charming self?
