This week on General Hospital characters face their demons, their accusers, and their family…
While Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) are ready to start their life of wedded bliss, there’s still some residual drama to work through at their reception. Plus, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Finn (Michael Easton) are in for the fights of their lives.
This week, Alexis finally gets the chance to plead her case. The Invader’s head wants to pivot back to the profession that best suits her. But wanting her law license back isn’t enough. She’ll have hoops to jump. One big one, especially. It looks like she may have to face Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) brother, attorney Fergus Byrne (Lane Davies — who reunites with Nancy Lee Grahn). Will Alexis’s accuser present a ferocious opposition at the legal hearing? Or can she rely on her considerable skills to get herself reinstated?
At the wedding reception, Sonny (Maurice Benard) has some major explaining to do after his assault on Dex (Evan Hofer). Kristina (Kate Mansi) witnessed her dad threaten Dex and Jason (Steve Burton), and it was clearly too much for her to take. She’s run around Port Charles repeatedly defending her father for months now. Will she be able to unsee and unhear her father talk about putting a gun to Jason and Dex’s heads? More importantly, will Sonny be able to explain his actions in a way that won’t lose him the loyalty of one of his only remaining sources of support in Port Charles?
Finally, Finn’s taste of champagne at the reception may be the gateway to a darker, more dangerous place. One that involves pouring bourbon into a glass. Is he about to give in to his demons? (Check out more GH Comings & Goings here)
