This Week on General Hospital
Get ready for an emotional week for GH.
First, it will be a time of celebration at the hospital. “It’s General Hospital’s anniversary,” says co-chief of Staff Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) in voiceover. Visually, Tracy (Jane Elliot) looks at photos of Edward Quartermaine (the late John Ingle), as well as legendary GH Doctors Steve Hardy (the late John Beradino) and Rick Webber (Chris Robinson).

“And I have a feeling it’s just getting started,” says Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), who’s walking with Carly (Laura Wright) and Donna (Scarlett Spears). Felicia, of course, is now a patient advocate at the hospital. As she utters those words, we see quick shots of Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Jason (Steve Burton) practically in tears, a serious Anna (Finola Hughes), and a smiling Sonny (Maurice Benard).
On the other end of the spectrum, Ric (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) were in an accident, and it’s time to find out what Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) tampering has caused. “I don’t understand. I mean, it was supposed to be Ava,” Kristina says in confusion and panic. She’s just finding out that she didn’t tamper with Ava’s (Maura West) car. The vehicle parked in Ava’s spot was Ric’s. Ric was driving Elizabeth home when the car suddenly veered off the road.

Next, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) runs to the scene of the accident. He yells, “Elizabeth!” Is GH’s Head Nurse okay? If she isn’t, how hurt is she? Cut to the hospital, where Molly (Kristen Vaganos) asks Lucas (Van Hansis), “How’s my dad?” Dr. Jones suggests, “Why don’t we go sit down.” What will Lucas tell Molly? Does she need to brace for yet another loss in her life?
