General Hospital Spoilers Weekly Preview December 9-13: Dex Goes Down as Hospital Mystery Heats Up

Officer Down

The action escalates this week on GH. First, we see some mysterious person in scrubs handling a syringe and a bottle of digitalis. And we see him inject it into someone’s IV.

However, the voiceover we hear is someone saying, “You are not going to believe what happened.” We’re unsure what this dialogue has to do with this hospital mystery that’s clearly taking place now.

Next, rookie officer Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) rummages through a trashcan, presumably looking for evidence. Suddenly, it seems like he gets stabbed in the back. Will he be okay? Is it his IV receiving the digitalis injection that surely was never ordered? Does Dex go down permanently?

“Something very wrong is going on here.” GH Head Nurse Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) knows something is up, and on top of that, she knows that it doesn’t have anything to do with her, even though she was the last one to take care of Sam (Kelly Monaco) before she died. Digitalis was found in her system, according to the autopsy results.

“What Happened?
“What?”
“Officer down. I repeat, Officer down!”

Suddenly, a series of shocked faces appear, including Nina (Cynthia Watros), Joss (Eden McCoy), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Chase (Josh Swickard), and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero). Most of these faces can’t all be related to the mysterious digitalis killer. Clearly, the promo heads into Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) territory here.

What Does Michael Do?

The quick-cut montage continues with four more faces: Willow, Drew, Carly (Laura Wright), and Michael (Chad Duell), looking guilty and as if he wants to say, “What did I just do?” Meanwhile, we hear two voices. One says, “Turn it off!” and the other says, “You son of a…” The intense promo leaves it up to your imagination to fill in the blank.

So, what does Michael do? Does he make sure the video of Willow and Drew gets in the wrong hands? Obviously, whatever it is, it seems like it goes live on TV for everybody to see. Ruh roh.
