General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 25-29, 2025 tease a heartbreaking update and the bonding moment we’ve all been waiting for.
Gio and Dante Finally Connect
It’s been a minute since everyone has gone back to this year’s Nurses Ball shocker: Gio’s (Giovanni Mazza, who is joining fellow co-stars at this year’s GH Graceland fan event) parentage. Between Rocco’s (Finn Carr) newfound desire to get to know Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) heart attack, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) have had bigger things on their minds than attempting to smooth things over with their son.
But Dante hasn’t given up, and things are about to change by the end of the week. After a chat with his best bud Cody (Josh Kelly), Dante will finally begin connecting with Gio on Thursday. Brook Lynn will also be left encouraged mid-week, so maybe things perk up between mother and son as well. Of course, if Gio goes ahead with his plan to break into Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab for Emma (Braedyn Bruner), a breaking and entering charge could easily start a new feud between Gio and his detective father.
An Update On Maxie
After Maxie suffered a sudden heart attack live on Home & Heart, her loved ones have rallied around her. Her heart is fine, but an unknown enzyme in her blood is leaving her unconscious, and everyone’s biggest fear is her slipping into a coma, just like Lulu (Alexa Havins). Look for Maxie’s family to receive some difficult news at the start of the week.
Odds and Ends
Elsewhere in Port Charles, on Wednesday, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) is said to confront Kristina (Kate Mansi). After Cody throws her under the bus for hiring him to mess with Ava (Maura West), Molly will certainly have some choice words for her sister.
On Thursday, Trina (Tabyana Ali) will make a discovery that leads her to asking Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) for help on Friday. Whatever this discovery is, it puts her back in Kai’s atmosphere, whether she likes it or not.
