The General Hospital spoilers for the Wednesday, May 15 episode focus on the kick-off of Brook Lynn and Chase’s wedding extravaganza. Heartwarming and romantic moments are great. But when does the drama kick in?
Getting Ready to Say I Do
For months, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) have been talking about and angsting over their wedding. And now the big day is finally here. In the first of three episodes this week, the event of the year takes over Port Charles.
As evident in GH’s weekly promo, drama will go down at the festivities. It’s inevitable when you practically have the entire town united in one location. Sonny (Maurice Benard — who recently honored his mom on SOM) will be present and accounted for at the wedding, which means the chance for violence goes up immeasurably. Let’s hope Brook Lynn and Chase can at least say “I Do” and get through the ceremony before anything game-changing or life-changing takes place.
Something Old, Something Unexpected
Brook Lynn and Tracy (Jane Elliot) share a heartwarming moment before the bride walks down the aisle. Grandmother gives granddaughter something that used to be Lila’s (the late Anna Lee). So much of this wedding for Brook Lynn involves her hoping to pay homage to Lila. Here’s another way that she’ll get to honor the amazing woman.
Meanwhile, teasers suggest that Jason (Steve Burton) will surprise everyone. How is he going to do that? At this point, what would surprise us is if he turned his back on Carly (Laura Wright), which will not happen anytime soon. They are besties forever. (GH’s Rebecca Herbst celebrated a birthday this week)
Wedding Surprises
Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) are taken aback. They must witness Natalia (Eva LaRue) showing up at the wedding with Sonny. After the two recover from their shock, what will their reaction to their parents arriving together be?
Finally, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) meets Gio (Giovanni Matza), Brook Lynn’s cousin and talented violinist. Is this meeting going to be significant? Will it end up meaning something in the long run? Or is this simply a one-off wedding interaction?
