The next General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, June 18, 2024, focus on contemplating coming clean, going into battle with a sometime friend, sometime foe, and freedom. Sweet, sweet freedom.
Coming up in Port Charles
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) wants to know what’s stopping Cody (Josh Kelly). From what? If their recent conversation at Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) surprise party is any indication, this is about Cody finally revealing to Mac (John J. York) that he lied about being his son.
Cody’s clearly wanting more out of his life. He and Sasha are closer than ever. Plus, he has a great job managing the stables on the Quartermaine property. Connecting with his biological father would complete the trifecta. Maybe he’s realizing he’s worthy of having someone like Mac in his life. So it’s convenient that Mac is about to return to Port Charles!
Anna (Finola Hughes) dons her spy hat to go undercover to get the goods on Valentin (James Patrick Stuart — where you can see Stuart outside GH). Of course, she’ll have to endure a date with her to do just that. Will Valentin sus out Anna’s intentions, or will the PCPD Commissioner prevail and get her man?
Meanwhile, Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Scott (Kin Shriner) are back on the scene, looking hella smug and cranky, respectively. Lord knows their agenda, but Scott thinks he might have found something that will work. Does this have anything to do with Deception, or have they turned their attention to something different?
Apparently, Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) can give news that throws someone for a loop. He must decide that Jason (Steve Burton) has fulfilled his duty to the Feds because he says, “You’re finally a free man.”
Whatever Sam (Kelly Monaco) tells Carly (Laura Wright) about her Free Jason investigation sets Carly off. Clearly, the co-owner of the Metro Court Hotel woke up and chose violence. In the promo, Carly uses every inch of her height advantage to put Sam on blast. She wants to know why she made such a “big damn deal about having a baby with him.” Yikes. Is it safe to say that Carly and Sam are no longer on good terms?
Finally, Jason tells someone, most probably Sonny (Maurice Benard), that “he’s framing you.” It must feel nice to come clean for a change instead of staying quiet because of some leveraged deal with the Feds. Is Jason telling Sonny about Valentin, or are we supposed to believe that’s what is happening here, and he’s talking about something completely different?
