General Hospital Spoilers Video Preview July 23: The Ava Versus Sonny War Heats Up

The next General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, July 23, 2024, mostly focus on the Ava versus Sonny war that’s percolating. Strategies are discussed, alliances are dissected, and violence is chosen.

Coming up in Port Charles

So, Jason (Steve Burton) wants Anna (Finola Hughes) to give him the same consideration that she gave Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)? What does that even mean? Should trouble come for him, he wants her to give him a heads-up, and he’ll make the appropriate arrangements to get out of dodge? What’s he hoping for here?

Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Michael (Chad Duell) discuss family matters, which, in this case, means Sonny (Maurice Benard). Michael most probably relays the blow-up he just had with the man. And they all chat about the upcoming custody trial. Kristina feels she’s just as a liability for their dad as Michael is.

Carly (Laura Wright) visits Sonny and tells him he needs to take Cates (Adam J. Harrington) seriously because the agent wants to take him down. Will Sonny process what Carly’s saying and actually listen to her?

Speaking of Cates (and his bumpy, turbulent week), he pays Ava (Maura West) another visit. During this face-to-face, he attempts to set terms for their sudden working relationship. Why does the FBI agent always want his wants and needs to come first? Doesn’t he know who he is talking to? Basically, he needs to respect Ava and realize it’s not about what he wants. It’s about what she needs and what she’s going to get.

Finally, Sonny decides to choose violence once again. These days, violence is how he responds, especially because his meds have been tampered with, and he still isn’t aware after all of these long, long months. When is someone going to realize there’s an actual cause for why Sonny continues to choose violence? More importantly, when is someone going to do something about it????
