General Hospital Spoilers Video Preview July 2: Power Shifts and Covered Tracks

The next General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, July 2, 2024, focus on the fallout from the recording that Ava leaked. Natalia has to answer for her words, Ava has to cover her tracks, and Kristina and Blaze have to feel their feelings.

Coming up in Port Charles

This whole contract negotiation between Deception and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) has been going on for months due to Natalia’s demands. Now that the article has dropped and is causing waves of embarrassment for everyone involved, the power has shifted. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) takes charge and basically tells Natalia (Eva LaRue) to get with the program or “kick rocks.” Go, Maxie!

Understandably, Blaze looks crushed and needs an explanation from her mother, who, once again, put her foot in it. What can Natalia even tell her daughter that’ll make up for the article? Especially since the article contains a link to the damning audio. Those were her words. She can’t erase it from existence and say she was taken out of context.

Naturally, Ava (Maura West) will do whatever she can to cover her tracks. Is this even a possibility? At the very least, she’ll attempt to minimize any interaction with the new Editor-in-Chief of The Invader. Plus, can she ensure he wasn’t seen when he visited her when she cooked up her plan of attack?

Speaking of the weasely gossip guy, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) heads straight to her not-so-favorite person for some answers. She’ll undoubtedly use some of her famous intimidation tactics on Adrian DeWitt (Dieterich Gray). Will he give up Ava as easily as Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) gave up Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) name to Michael (Chad Duell)?

Meanwhile, Kristina (Kate Mansi) reacts to the article. She must think that the LGBTQ+ center she runs will shun her now that the world knows she and Blaze hid their relationship. After all, she lives her life in the open. Unfortunately, Blaze doesn’t. (Find out which GH actor earned Performer of the Month of June)

Finally, Sonny (Maurice Benard) has to have his say. This article hurts his daughter, and at the same time, it may “put a target on her and Blaze’s backs. We know he’ll go after Ava when he finds out she recorded and leaked the audio. How about Natalia? Will he throw her out of his dwindled inner circle?
