The next General Hospital spoilers for Friday, July 19, 2024, focus on footbridge moments, feeling guilt, and family drama.
Coming up in Port Charles
Right off the top, James (Gary James Fuller) gets it. He sees everybody around him acting weird and clearly wants to know what’s up. So, who will tell him that Cody (Josh Kelly) is not just his friend who helps him ride horses but that he’s part of the family? A shady member of the family who lied to his father and everyone in favor of wealth and riches that never materialized. But he’s family, nevertheless.
“I just want to get there so badly.” Trina (Tabyana Ali) continues to struggle with her grief. It’s been over half a year since Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) died, but she’s not ready to move on yet. Considering how Spencer went out, do you blame her? What words of wisdom will Joss (Eden McCoy) be able to offer her friend?
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody are an adorable couple. However, she spends much of their time encouraging her significant other and getting him to feel better about himself. She’s doing it again with this whole Mac (John J. York) business. Let’s hope Cody faces his fears and insecurities and figures out how to make up for his mistakes. Mac deserves that.
While Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) has a great life with Sam (Kelly Monaco) and their blended family, he never forgets Lulu (formerly Emme Rylan). Obviously, he continues to visit her, but this time, he’s feeling all kinds of guilt. He tells Laura (Genie Francis) that he hopes his visits aren’t doing more harm than good. What does it mean that GH is actually showing a scene where Dante and Laura are talking about Lulu? Is this a prelude to a certain someone waking up from their comatose slumber?
Back at the Quartermaine’s, Tracy (Jane Elliot) demands to know how someone got there. Well, teasers suggest that Gio (Giovanni Mazza) is about to charm her, so that’s who we’re betting she’s confronting. (GH’s Cassandra James celebrated a birthday this week)
Finally, Jason (Steve Burton) and Carly (Laura Wright) discuss their next moves on the footbridge. For some reason, Jason says he has to get back in with Sonny (Maurice Benard). Is this because he misses his friend? Or is his motivation another bid to protect Sonny?
