The next General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 18, 2024, focus on one-on-one moments and one heck of a mea culpa.
With Kristina (Kate Mansi) beside her, it sounds like Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) has given up on her music career. Sure, her music label dropped her in the wake of the scandal involving her mother’s antiquated feelings about the LGBTQIA+ community. Little does she know, there might be hope on the horizon.
Meanwhile, Tracy (Jane Elliot) acts as a sounding board for Cody (Josh Kelly — who hopes to have more scenes with this GH co-star). And in true Tracy fashion, her advice comes with a super dose of wisdom, and a dash of harshness.
Over at the PCPD, Dex (Evan Hofer), the newbie cop, continues to learn on the job. Look for Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dex to start bonding. Presumably, Chase will dole out nuggets of advice while the two get to know each other.
Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) have a one-on-one at the footbridge. Apparently, Carly wants Jason to promise her something. Will she make him give her his word he won’t make a deal like the one he made with Cates (Adam Harrington)? After all, he protected her at the expense of everyone in his life, and she wouldn’t be able to handle that again.
Natalia (Eva LaRue) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) pitch their plan to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). It involves creating a new music label that will resurrect Blaze’s flailing career. This is Natalia’s big mea culpa to her daughter. However, Sonny says if he’s funding this venture, then he wants Brook Lynn to run it. Will she agree to their terms, or will she continue to give Natalia an ice-cold glare? (Check out the best fan theories about Lucky Spencer’s return)
