The next General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, August 8, 2024, focus on vendettas, confrontations, and Donna feeling bad for taking Sonny’s vitamins.
Trina (Tabyana Ali), wondering what “the hell” Portia (Brook Kerr) just did, must mean plenty of drama ahead. After all, this is Trina’s day to finally confront Heather (Alley Mills). And she doesn’t have to go to Pentonville to do it. Heather visits GH for a convenient follow-up.
Meanwhile, whoever receives Anna’s (Finola Hughes) warning must feel small. It’s likely Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington), who’s vocal about his vendetta against Sonny and has allied with Ava (Maura West). This hasn’t endeared him to Anna or whoever’s list she means. Maybe Jason (Steve Burton)?
Ruh roh. Does Scotty (Kin Shriner) want to pursue the case Laura (Genie Francis) has been making for Heather? Why would he want to do this? And much like Heather, we would like to know what’s in it for him?
Sigh. Cates seems to think Sonny’s days of “trampling over people are about to come to an end.” That’s what he tells Ava, anyway. Does Ava, in turn, tell him that Sonny (Maurice Benard — who teases a big payoff for his character) might be firing on all cylinders again?
Poor, adorable Donna (Scarlett Spears). She asks Sonny and Carly (Laura Wright) if she’s in trouble for taking “Daddy’s vitamins.” Little does she know that what she did inevitably helps her dad. Thankfully, those pills contain nothing, and Donna’s all right.
Finally, Jason asks a question. Is he talking to Sonny? Does this actually mean the two are besties again? Or is he talking to his main bestie, Carly?
