General Hospital Spoilers Video Preview August 15: Rescues and Reprimands

The next General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, August 15, 2024, focus on Cody taking a dive, Sonny needing to prove he’s legit, and Cates thinking he’s thisclose to nabbing his nemesis.

Coming up in Port Charles

Previously on GH, Sonny (Maurice Benard) decided to inject cash into a struggling Deception. This way, he can do something with his legit money and keep Natalia in town. This was all under the condition that she join the company as the CFO now that Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez — who subsequently announced her exit from GH) cut ties with her.

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) immediately lets the rest of the Deception women weigh in. Tracy (Jane Elliot) obviously rejects Sonny’s money. And, of course, Lucy (Lynn Herring) says it’s a good idea because it directly opposes what Tracy wants. Whose opinion will win out?

Meanwhile, James (Gary James Fuller) is nowhere to be found. An angry Felicia (Kristina Wagner) tells Mac (John J. York) that, at this point, it’s like he wants to punish Cody (Josh Kelly) deliberately. After all, he refused to let James take riding lessons from Cody, which is a move designed to inflict hurt.

A delulu Agent Cates (Adam Harrington) suddenly tells Ava (Maura West) that he has Sonny right where he wants him. What does he know that the rest of us don’t know?

Apparently, it wasn’t enough for Sonny to apologize to Lois (Rena Sofer) for his erratic behavior and the fact that their friendship took a hit because of it. She doesn’t like that he wants to invest in Deception because whenever he is involved, he brings a mountain of baggage with him. As a counterpoint, he hopes his friend will listen to Jason (Steve Burton) vouch for him.

Finally, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) tells Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) that nobody will find James unless the little boy wants them to. Then why does Cody suddenly have to go into rescue mode?
