General Hospital spoilers for the Monday, May 6 episode focus on characters seeking perspective, comfort, and truth.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) no longer has time for Carly (Laura Wright — whose Carly mostly figured out what’s wrong with Sonny). For some reason, he’s taken offense to Nina (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Cynthia Watros) actually signing the divorce papers, even though he basically shut her out for months.
And as much as he (inexplicably) trusts Ava (Maura West), there’s someone else inching her way into his life. And that’s Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez’s) mom, Natalia (Eva LaRue). She and Sonny comfort each other in what looks like a park setting. How close will these two get?
Does Ava know about Sonny spending quality time with Natalia? Because if she does, she’s bound to feel all sorts of emotions. Teasers suggest she’s frustrated. Is she angsting over Sonny and Natalia? Or does she turn her attention to something else?
Out of the freakin’ blue, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) questions his place with the PCPD. Anna (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Finola Hughes) considers him her most valuable member of the police department. When he walked into the building for his first day of work since recovering from a gunshot wound, his coworkers applauded him. Why is he only now letting his conflict of interest with his dad get in the way of his profession?
During Friday’s episode, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn — find out which Santa Barbara castmate is joining Grahn on GH) asked Kristina (Kate Mansi) if she was starting to think of the baby she’s carrying as more hers than her sister’s. Regardless of the answer, Alexis will have to give Kristina some home truths. In fact, she might even have to give her daughter some perspective on her situation.
Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ (Tajh Bellow) want to feel like they are a part of this pregnancy. And while they need to refrain from dictating every step she takes and every move she makes, they have every right to have and share concerns. Both sides probably need to exercise a little empathy with each other as well.
