Sonny Moves to Stop Dex from Carrying Out His Orders

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Sometimes Sonny (Maurice Benard, who talks about the bond between Sonny and Ava here) is his own worst enemy. When in pain and anguish, lashing out is a normal response. However, Sonny left normal a long time ago. In his high stakes world, he takes care of his foes in a very decisive and permanent manner. 

He’s enlisted his right-hand man, Dex (Evan Hofer), to bring down one of the town’s rival bad guys — Cyrus (Jeff Kober). Initially, Dex was reluctant to carry out this dirty deed. Since he’s (mostly) loyal, he agreed to carry out his boss’s orders. Unfortunately, Sonny changes his mind and now has to race to prevent Dex from completing the terrible task. Will he succeed?

Comfort and Support

Elsewhere, Joss (Courtney Fulk) is in need of support. Lately, it really seems like she’s been the one to offer her help and aid to those who need it.

So who better to turn to than your mother? Hypothetically, is Dex’s mission impossible the reason she turns to her mom? Or is this about Adam (Joshua Benard)? Another option could simply be she’s looking for comfort because she’s mourning Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman). 

Stepping up and Stepping Out

Look for Nikolas (Adam Huss) — yes, Nikolas — to make the decision to protect his son, Ace. Why is he stepping up now? Honestly, this feels like a kill two-birds-with-one-stone kind of situation. He finally wants to act like a dad to Ace (Joey Clay). Plus, he’d love to keep his kid away from Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). 

While Trina (Tabyana Ali) is about to drop the Paris trip knowledge on Esme, she might want to keep it to herself. After all, Esme has her memories back. How much do you want to bet she’ll do everything in her power to make sure Trina gets on that plane to Europe alone?
