General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, September 4, focus on a big return, a potentially huge save, and a massively important strategy session.
Hello, Holly!
While we don’t see Holly’s face in the weekly promo, we know that voice saying, “Hello, Darling.” Yes, Holly (Emma Samms) is back. And, as usual, she’s right in the middle of the action. How does she know Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and how does she end up in the same spot where Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) is? Did Laura (Genie Francis) or Robert (Tristan Rogers) reach out to her? More importantly, what will she do now that she’s in such an essential location?
Yes, Holly’s return may be what is needed to advance this East Africa story. And where’s her son with Luke Spencer? If something happens to Lucky, Ethan (Nathan Parsons) could be another potential donor for Lulu. In addition, if Holly makes her way back to Port Charles, can she and Robert reconnect? Who knows what’s happening with Robert and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) — are they even together? Regardless, we lean towards Team Holly with Robert, who needs something to spice up his life right about now.
Strategies and Sympathetic Ears
Meanwhile, the actions surrounding Sonny (Maurice Benard) are toxic, violent, and bloody. It really looks like he murdered Agent Cates (Adam J. Harrington), meaning the Fed might get the revenge he wants. He wanted Sonny to go to prison for the rest of his life. This may be how it happens. At the Quartermaine mansion, the site of the murder, Sonny slides into covering tracks mode and starts strategizing with Carly. After all, he does need an alibi. Will said alibi be airtight, however?
As for Kristina (Kate Mansi — GH’s Performer of the Month for August), she’s a hot mess who took a gun from Sonny’s penthouse. What did she do with it? Why does she suddenly turn to Michael (Chad Duell)? What does she want and/or need from him?
Help Needed Now
Ava (Maura West) is in trouble in a couple of different ways. First, Cates’s sidekick that he’s blackmailing (of course he is) is driving Ava to the Pine Barrens to kill her. Second, she has to realize Sonny was right about Cates’s motives. That’s never good. Thankfully, Ava is about to get a surprising assist. Could Jason (Steve Burton) arrive in the nick of time, meaning before Ava gets nicked with a bullet? She’d be very appreciative.
Finally, Drew (Cameron Mathison) confides in Curtis (Donnell Turner). Okay, what exactly does he tell his friend? About what just went down between him and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)? Hold up. What did just go down? Did they simply partake in a makeout session? Or did Willow commit adultery? Either way, will Curtis give his bro his concerned, non-judgmental face? Or will he be judgmental as hell? Because Drew mixing it up with Willow means he did Michael and Nina dirty. Sure, he and Nina aren’t a real thing, but Willow’s her daughter.
