When teasers suggest Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) is about to learn devastating news, we automatically assume he will finally discover what’s happening with Lulu (soon-to-be Alexa Havins) back in Port Charles. After all, it’s the end of September, and the character materialized at Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) camp towards the end of August.
It’s been a month, so it’s time for him to head back to PC. So, if he has to learn the awful, tragic news that his sister Lulu is dying and needs a liver transplant, then so be it. Hopefully, it’ll give him that much more inspiration to get the you-know-what out of Africa. For him, the stakes are higher than ever before. How will he make an escape happen? How much will he be able to rely on Jason (Steve Burton) and Anna (Finola Hughes), who have their own issues? Speaking of which…

Apparently, the walls close in on Jason and Anna. Now, we’re unsure whether the phrase “walls close in” is being used literally or metaphorically. Anything can happen when on a quest, so let’s just say that Jason and Anna must be in danger. Thankfully, these two are resourceful individuals. They’ll figure out how to get themselves out of whatever mess they’re in, and then they’ll finish the extraction mission.
Ned (Wally Kurth) is under some pressure of his own. He vowed to Michael (Chad Duell) and anyone else who could hear him yell at the top of his lungs that he’d find Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). He has his best people on it, he said. Finding Valentin is a good thing because he and Michael want to give Cassadine the boot from ELQ. An added benefit for Lulu is that Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) is with him. She could help with her liver problem. So, what shocking intel does Ned suddenly receive? Is Valentin closer to PC than first thought? Or has the man and his daughter disappeared off the face of this planet?
