General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, September 25, 2025, reveal one priority: the town of Port Charles begins to say a collective goodbye to Dr. Monica Quartermaine.

On Thursday, the only thing that matters is remembering and paying respect to an iconic woman and a legendary character. The Quartermaines and the community of Port Charles come together to say goodbye to Monica (the late Leslie Charleson).
Monica recently passed away peacefully in her sleep. Ever since, her family, friends, and former coworkers have been reflecting on her legacy, her strength, and her colorful history.
Her family is taking it hard, especially Jason (Steve Burton) and Tracy (Jane Elliot). Their relationship with Monica was complicated, but in the end, what they had was pure love for each other.
In an interview with TV Insider, co-head writers Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte revealed that the Quartermaine family “will come together with much of Port Charles to say goodbye to a woman who was an integral part of the community for nearly 50 years.”
They also teased that most of those affected by her loss will see this as “an occasion for mourning and togetherness, but for a few, it will mark an opportunity to be seized.”
But not everybody will mourn her the same way. A devastated Tracy went missing, and Jason is full of regrets. Drew (Cameron Mathison) can only think about the way it was between him and Monica at the end. He feels that she turned her back on him, and he blames the family — Michael (Rory Gibson), Tracy, Jason — for that. So there’s no telling what kind of drama he will continue to cause.
