General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, September 17, focus on characters developing theories, sharing feelings, taking action, and making great sacrifices. How big a sacrifice are we talking?
Versus
We’ve had plenty of showdowns between Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos). So, we’re here for Sonny vs. Molly. The last time Molly went up against Sonny (Maurice Benard), she blamed him for everything, and he was still taking the placebos. Something tells us their latest interaction is going to be anything but one-sided.

In fact, Sonny probably doesn’t think his daughter deserves any of the wrath Molly has been unleashing all over Kristina. That must be why he challenges Molly. What kind of challenge is this, anyway? Does Sonny want Molly to open her mind and see things from her sister’s perspective? Or is this the Sonny Corinthos type of challenge that comes with posturing, loud voices, and threats? Inquiring minds want to know.
Sacrifices and Theories
While Sonny and Molly mix it up, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) makes a big sacrifice. Again, we know that Alexis will do anything to protect her kids. And if she thinks Kristina will get nailed for John Cates’s (Adam J. Harrington) murder, she’s not going to let it happen. Even though Alexis created a massive mess when she threw away that gun. And even though neither of them actually killed the man! In GH’s weekly video, Kristina threatens to confess to killing the G-Man. Is this to counter her mother’s sacrifice? Or is Alexis’s sacrifice to counter her daughter’s confession?
Another Davis woman thankfully stays out of danger and the toxic actions of her family. However, with a teaser suggesting Sam (Lindsay Hartley substitutes for Kelly Monaco this week) develops a new theory, she may not remain outside the loop for long. Is this sudden theory about the murder or something else?
Feelings and Taking Action
Nina (Cynthia Watros) has kinda sorta mended fences with Ava (Maura West); she’s still in a good place with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and life is good for her. When she shares her feelings with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), does she choose to open up about Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Has — gulp — Nina developed real feelings for him? Or is she simply doubling down on Drew to protect her daughter’s marriage?

Finally, Drew is a man of action. He’s running for Congress, has Aurora Media to think about it, and kissed his nephew’s wife. And now he’s taking action. What does he decide to do? Is this about Willow?
