General Hospital Spoilers September 13: Mac and Chase Turn Up the Heat in Port Charles

The Fight for Justice

As usual, the major player in the crime game, namely Sonny (Maurice Benard — check out the meaning behind Sonny’s safe), has had plenty of time to get his ducks in a row. Jason (Steve Burton) disposed of the gun that murdered Agent Cates (Adam J. Harrington). He has an alibi — we’ll see how airtight it remains. Meanwhile, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) dropped herself smack dab in the middle of a major mess when she threw Sonny’s gun over the bridge.

As a result, she had to answer questions at the PCPD, and her daughter Molly (Kristen Vaganos) threw Kristina (Kate Mansi) under the bus to save their mom from being embroiled in this chaos a minute longer. According to teasers, Mac (John J. York) makes an arrest while Chase (Josh Swickard) calls in a suspect. Are both of these the same person? How much drama are we in for?

Demands, Anna Has a Few

For now, we’re going to compartmentalize a few things. We will set aside the fact that Anna (Finola Hughes) is acting so hurt by Jason choosing Sonny over working with her. We’ve been wondering about it, but this isn’t the time to go there.

Instead, it’s time to wonder what demand she makes of Brennan (Charles Mesure). Anna, the lone wolf, said she would take it upon herself to find Lucky’s location. So, what does she need from Brennan? Oh, wait. Does she want him to — let’s say it together — STAY AWAY FROM CARLY? Jason gave Carly (Laura Wright) the flip side of that demand. If this is true, does this mean Jason and Anna are on the same page again?

Promising and Confronting

Sonny is in what he thinks is a good place. However, things around him are hella chaotic, which is 100% due to his destructive, dangerous, and deadly choices. It looks like he suddenly makes a promise. Who is he making this promise to, and more importantly, will he keep it? Is his word his bond? Yeah, the jury’s out right now. Finally, what’s going on with Lois (Rena Sofer) and Tracy (Jane Elliot)? Tracy shoved an etiquette teacher onto Lois, but it didn’t seem like she minded. Is this why they butt heads? Over more Deception business? Or does this fight have to do with something more personal?
