General Hospital is leaving 2024 with a bang and is ready to dive right into the new year. 2025 promises a ton of drama including love, heartbreak, and schemes. Thanks to our friend at TVLine, here is just a preview of what’s to come starting in January and beyond.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is back and more determined than ever to reunite with her daughter Charlotte, setting off a high-stakes game with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) that, of course, will involve Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). As she fights for her family, she leans into her ex. Lulu and Dante are the loves of each other’s lives, but things aren’t the same as before she fell into that coma.
Also discovering each other again are Ava (Maura West) and Ric (Rick Hearst). His heart may be with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) but Ava’s there, available, and holding his attention…for now. Also watch for Ava to use her connection to the Davis ladies to her advantage.
MORE: We’re hoping to see more of THESE characters in 2025.
Watch for Trina (Tabyana Ali) to let herself get closer to Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). They have many adventures coming up…including one that will have Kai on edge. Just wait until you see the trouble coming his way!
Secrets threaten to destroy Chase (Josh Swickard) and BLQ’s (Amanda Setton) happily ever after. She’s keeping one of him, he’s keeping something from her, and once the truth starts pouring out, their joy may quickly turn into misery.
Once upon a time there was no greater love than that between Lucas (Van Hansis) and Brad (Parry Shen). Brad wants that loving feeling back and will do whatever it takes to prove himself. Will his love games work, though?
Isaiah becomes a trusted confidant, but his romance with Jordan is tested as she embarks on a perilous mission to address an emerging threat in Port Charles.
Kristina (Kate Mansi) should be concentrating on her new business but instead she’ll be keeping a close eye on Ava (Maura West). She’s becoming quite obsessed and that will continue into the new year. Will Kristina’s thirst for revenge ruin her life?
At the same time, Alexa (Nancy Lee Grahn) has her work cut out for her. She’s be working around the clock to keep her daughter’s in line all while dealing with Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) drama.
As for that drama Drew has going on, he’ll reach a breaking point with everyone looking at him as the bad guy. In fact, he’ll go all-out to protect Scout (Cosette Abinante) from the headlines and gossip by relocating her. But to where?
Meanwhile, he’ll also chase after Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). The pair are set to throw caution to the wind and lean into those irresistible sparks between them. Unfortunately, a love like this could cost them dearly!
As if that’s not enough, Drew faces an uphill challenge at the office. The fallout between him and Curtis (Donnell Turner) turns into an outright war. These former best friends may never be friends again after this.
Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) life and health are a mess right now and he’s determined to get back on top. In the coming weeks, he has big decisions to make – including how to deal with his enemies.
While Sonny works to right his life, Michael (Chad Duell) throws in the towel on a part of his. He’s ready to go to battle and get his revenge. Sadly, things will go sideways (as they often do) and a horrifying act of violence changes literally everything.
Emma (Braedyn Bruner) is living under Anna’s (Finola Hughes) roof but will she follow her grandma’s rules? That remains to be seen. What’s for sure, however, is she’s going to become a huge headache for Joss (Eden McCoy). As if catching Dex’s killer isn’t enough of a headache for poor Joss.
On top of raising her granddaughter, Anna get sucked back into the WSB, all thanks to Valentin. He needs help and she can’t resist being his hero. Will her efforts work out, though, or will everything completely fall apart?
Lucy’s (Lynn Herring) desperation to expand deception has her trusting the wrong person. She gets close to Sidwell and it could cost her in the end. Lucy better keep those pretty eyes wide open!
Selina makes a deal with significant consequences for the Ashford family. The drama causes Portia to go off the rails and push her to a dark place. One where she starts repeat some questionable strategies she’s used before.
Port Charles’s ultimate villain is on the loose and has his hit list in his back pocket. Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is on a mission to murder all those who wronged him. He better watch his step, though. One wrong move and he could land back behind bars for the rest of his life.
