Coming up in Port Charles

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) says to Lucy (Lynn Herring), “We had a deal. You broke it.” Lucy helped set off the chain of events that exposed Brook Lynn’s Route 91 secret and the attempt to frame Willow. Now that everything has blown up in BLQ’s face, she may decide Lucy no longer deserves the payoff from a deal she failed to keep and will want her ELQ shares back.

Joss (Eden McCoy) explains to Carly (Laura Wright), “If you don’t, this can end badly.” Joss has already seen what the WSB can do when things spiral, and she knows Anna’s situation is only getting more dangerous. Whatever she wants Carly to do, this sounds less like advice and more like a warning that waiting could make the fallout much worse.

Ava (Maura West) will confront Drew (Cameron Mathison), probably about Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) arrest, and he’ll explain, “I just needed a little insurance policy.” Drew already planted Jack’s wallet in Nina’s car to steer suspicion away from himself and Ava, so his idea of insurance apparently involves making someone else look guilty. If Ava realizes Nina is now paying the price for that move, Drew may have a lot more explaining to do.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) tries to get information from Justine (Nazneen Contractor), but she informs him, “If you’re wondering if I can help Nina, the answer is no.” Nina was arrested for Jack’s disappearance and possible murder, so Sonny is clearly looking for any angle that might help her. Unfortunately, Justine sounds ready to shut that door before he can even get his foot in it.

And Agent Baines (Alimi Ballard) lets Nina know, “I have enough evidence to extradite you.” Nina already went from being questioned to being arrested, and now Baines is making it clear just how serious this case has become. With Jack’s wallet planted against her and the WSB building its case, Nina may be in much deeper trouble than she realizes.
