General Hospital spoilers for Monday, September 23, focus on characters defending decisions, living on the edge, and voicing their doubts.
Agree to Disagree?
We don’t get enough of these co-chiefs of Staff consulting each other. But we’ll get Portia (Brook Kerr) and Terry (Cassandra James) together on Monday. Portia presumably takes issue with Terry giving Brad (Perry Shen) another chance to work at GH. People are apparently finding out about his return. Terry knew there’d be those out there who would disapprove of Britt Westbourne’s bestie back and working in the labs.
Terry suddenly has to defend her actions. Will Portia agree with Terry’s decision, or will these two conflict on this matter? If they do, who gets to be the tiebreaker?

Living Life on the Edge
Speaking of Portia, she’s on edge. Maybe this is because she may have worked her medical mojo on Heather’s (Alley Mills) test results and hopes there are no ramifications. Here’s the thing. Since this is Port Charles, of course, there will be ramifications. It’s only a matter of time. And, just putting this out there, will she ultimately be happy that Brad is back working in the labs? Just spitballing. Nothing to see here. (Check out GH’s Jophielle Love and her reunion with her TV family)
Meanwhile, Portia’s hubby Curtis (Donnell Turner) is once again counseling TJ (Tajh Bellow). The guy is a hot mess, and he and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) are on different wavelengths of grief and mourning. He probably feels alone, so it’s a good thing Curtis is around. Will this counseling session take place in the hospital’s new Aurora Media health and wellness center again?

Doubts and Encounters
Look for Carly (Laura Wright) and Brennan (Charles Mesure) to have a loaded encounter. Loaded is a strong word. Are we talking chemistry-filled sexual tension? Or simmering with the bad kind of tension? Carly and Brennan have been dancing around each other for a while now. Will they take any next steps? (Here’s how fans can meet the GH cast)
Finally, teasers suggest that Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) voices her doubts. Lately, she has had no doubts about Ric (Ric Lansing). She friend-zoned him in the middle of Bobbie’s. Didn’t leave any crack of doubt with him. She’s not the same when she talks about Lucky (Jonathan Jackson). She might have doubts, but will she be more open to him should he return to PC?
