General Hospital Spoilers Preview October 24: Heather is in Disbelief, and a Major Return is Imminent

The next General Hospital spoilers video for Thursday, October 24, 2024, shows Jason and Sonny conferring about Holly’s diamonds while Laura tries to inspire Isaiah that Lulu’s surgery will succeed.

Coming up in Port Charles

At the hospital, Portia (Brook Kerr) says to Liz (Rebecca Herbst), “If plan A fails, I may take you up on that offer.” In the last episode, Curtis (Donnell Turner) told Portia that Heather (Alley Mills) wouldn’t be a problem again, so whatever he’s got up his sleeve could be Plan A. Plan B possibly means that Liz may have offered to call her brother Steve (Scott Reeves) to come to Port Charles and ensure his mother Heather does no harm, or at least take her away.

Meanwhile, Ric (Rick Hearst) is at the prison talking to Heather. He obviously told her that she was being set free because her incredulous response was, “Are you messing with me?” She’ll believe it when it happens and not a second sooner. GH weekly spoilers state that Reeves is returning this episode so that jives with Heather’s release and our guess as to plan B. 

Elsewhere, Jason (Steve Burton) asks Sonny (Maurice Benard) if he can get something done quickly. He’s probably referring to fencing the diamonds for Holly (Emma Samms). Jason knows Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is headed to Port Charles and most likely wants his diamonds back, therefore he and Sonny must get rid of the diamonds pronto.

The weekly spoilers also insinuated that Brennan (Charles Mesure) had to contain a crisis, and in the trailer, he tells Carly (Laura Wright), “If you have to ask, you’re not as smart as I thought you were.” It’s highly likely that, given Sidwell’s imminent arrival, he might be telling Carly to high tail it out of Port Charles until the threat is eliminated, and she’s just not understanding.

Back at the hospital, as friends and family gather for Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) risky liver transplant, Laura informs Isaiah, “If you give her the chance, she will win again.” Laura has faith that Lulu will survive despite her issue with a blood clot that poses a risk to the surgery and her life. And while Sam awaits the procedure, she smiles as she tells someone, “You want something. You always do.”
