General Hospital Spoilers Preview January 8:  Port Charles is Too Hot To Handle

The next General Hospital spoilers video for Wednesday, January 8, 2025, shows a horrific nightmare as an explosion in Sonny’s apartment sets Michael on fire.

Coming up in Port Charles

Considering there are no plans to kill him off, Michael (Chad Duell) is going to undergo terrifying complications as he burns almost to death. Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) watch helplessly from the sidelines as Jason holds Sonny back, telling his boss to call 911. It was clear that Sidwell (Carlo Rota), who just purchased Wyndemere, planted the bomb and was awaiting the fireworks from Spoon Island.

Weekly teasers state that Nina (Cynthia Watros) delivers bad news. She must be telling Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) the news about Michael. Boy, is Willow going to feel really awful for cheating on her husband after hearing this devastating news. Sadly, her grief will push her directly into Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) arms.

Also, Chase (Josh Swickard) opens up to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). It could be he’s worrying that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is putting too much pressure on herself to get pregnant. And Sasha might know what to say to allay her fears. Conversely, Brook Lynn makes a revelation, according to the teasers, so maybe she admits the same concern.

And Portia (Brook Kerr) confides in Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson). After their encounter with Cyrus (Jeff Kober), she was looking a little worried. He had that familiar evil look in his eyes when she booted him from the hospital. So she’s probably worried that he’s going to retaliate and shares her worry with Isaiah. He didn’t know anything about Cyrus until Brad went ballistic and told him about Cyrus’ horrible actions in the past.
