As the current summer season ends, General Hospital is already starting to escalate the drama and action in some stories that will keep our attention this fall. Yes, the chess pieces are set as the ABC soap features a daughter stepping up for her mom while romance brews and bubbles up in a number of places. However, according to TV Insider, expect twists, turns, and obstacles to spice up Port Charles along the way.
Alexis’s plan to protect Kristina hits a snag. Are we surprised? Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) dumped a gun over the bridge and into the river. Things are already going wrong with Chase (Josh Swickard) showing up with questions for Alexis. Then Kristina (Kate Mansi) had to explain her actions to Sonny (Maurice Benard), Michael (Chad Duell), and Molly (Kristen Vaganos). How much trouble is this missing gun going to cause the Davis women?
Molly takes matters into her own hands to save Alexis. Molly is pretty angry with her mom. After all, she has continually spent her time comforting and handling Kristina’s pain after the loss of Irene. But Molly will do what she does best and take matters into her own hands to save Alexis.

Ric finds another reason to stick around Port Charles. We think Ric (Rick Hearst) has found a plethora of reasons to stick around Port Charles longer. He represents Heather (Alley Mills); he has a vested interest in where this missing gun situation goes. He wants to be near his daughter. What other reason could there be? Does this have to do with reconnecting with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) or someone else, perhaps? Although we know Ric. He probably finds yet another shady reason to stay.
Tracy works through her complicated feelings about Cody and Sasha’s romance. Well, this particular plot twist wasn’t on our bingo card. Why would Tracy (Jane Elliot) have complicated feelings about Cody (Josh Kelly) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson)? Because they work together? Or is there another reason? Is there a mystery here? Inquiring minds would like to know.
Lucky dreams of Elizabeth. We have questions. Does Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) dream about Elizabeth while he’s still in East Africa? Or does he dream about her when he’s back in Port Charles? These two have mountains of history, and they share a son. If they reconnect, will they be able to get it right this time?
Hoping to clear his mind about Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Drew has a proposition for Nina. It sounds to us that Drew (Cameron Mathison) is about to make a messy situation even messier. He shares a couple of secret kisses with the daughter. He occasionally sleeps with her mother. And exactly what does this proposition for Nina (Cynthia Watros) entail? He’s not about to propose an arrangement that involves them getting married, is he?

Dante and Rocco visit Lulu. This seems like something Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Rocco (Finn Francis Carr) would normally do. But what makes this teaser special? Does this mean Lulu is about to wake up? More importantly, who will be playing the New Recast Lulu? This will be one of the biggest stories this fall.
Jordan and Isaiah get to know each other. While Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) was sleeping in the hospital bed at GH, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) went to bat for him. She saved him from dying, caught the assassin, and tirelessly worked to find out his identity. Getting to know each other is encouraging. Let’s hope this leads to an even deeper connection.
