Coming up in Port Charles

Carly (Laura Wright) puts her heart on the line when she tells Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), “I almost never take advice, but tonight I am.” After Lucas pushed her to stop being noble and fight for the man who makes her life better, Carly may finally decide that giving Valentin room to help Anna (Finola Hughes) does not mean quietly giving him up.

General Hospital's Drew

Drew (Cameron Mathison) tells someone, “Well, that is a step in the right direction.” With several of his plans under pressure lately, even a small development may be enough for Drew to see an opening. Of course, with Drew, one step forward usually means somebody else should check whether the floor is still there.

General Hospital's Portia

Portia (Brook Kerr) informs Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), “Take enough of them, they’ll get you where you want to be.” With Isaiah continuing his physical therapy and working toward regaining full use of his hand, Portia may be encouraging him not to get discouraged by slow progress. After everything he has been through, this feels less like a pep talk and more like a reminder that recovery is built one small win at a time.

General Hospital's Alexis

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) lets Monet (Blythe Howard) know, “My client is not going to be happy.” Since Monet is handling Curtis’ appeal and looking for every possible advantage, Alexis may be warning her that whatever comes next is going to create another problem for somebody she represents. When two Port Charles attorneys start comparing notes, somebody somewhere should probably brace for paperwork.

General Hospital's Sonny

Sonny (Maurice Benard) explains to Jason (Steve Burton), “If there’s a loose end, A.D.A. Turner’s going to find it.” With Sonny already under suspicion for the attack that injured Curtis (Donnell Turner), causing Gio (Giovanni Mazza) to walk out of his life, he knows one overlooked detail could make everything worse. Jason may be the person Sonny trusts to figure out whether Justine (Nazneen Contractor) is following a real trail or one somebody deliberately left for her.

And Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) tells Jude (Wil Traval), “I’m ready to live.” After agreeing to one uncomplicated night with the mysterious newcomer, Britt may be deciding she is done letting Jason, grief, and everything else keep her stuck. Jude arrived at exactly the moment Britt seemed ready to stop looking backward, which makes his timing either very good or very Port Charles.
