Coming up in Port Charles

General Hospital's Chase.

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) tells Chase (Josh Swickard), “Coexist, maybe. Peacefully, that’s a big ask.” That may be the understatement of the year now that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) has moved back onto the Quartermaine property and is already finding reasons to spend time with Chase. Brook Lynn has barely had time to process the move, and seeing her shirtless husband helping Willow unpack probably did not improve the odds of peaceful coexistence.

A concerned Ava (Maura West) asks Lucas (Van Hansis), “Are we celebrating something, or should I brace myself?” Lucas may be about to tell her that he finally found a new apartment, which sounds like good news until Joe (Jonathan Bennett) enters the picture. The problem is that Joe was just shown the exact same place, so somebody may be celebrating a little too early.

General Hospital's Hudson.

Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) tells Josslyn (Eden McCoy), “I came here to do a job. I’m not leaving until it’s done.” He has already made it clear that Joss refusing the JJE job is not enough to send him packing, and Carly (Laura Wright) is only making his assignment more complicated by pushing him to change Joss’ mind. The longer Hudson stays in Port Charles, the greater the chance he crosses paths with Brook Lynn and Chase and gets a look at baby Phoebe.

General Hospital's Sonny.

Anna (Finola Hughes) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) find common ground, and she explains, “It’s not completely over. There’s something else.” Sonny may tell her about his plans to leave organized crime behind, which is not exactly the sort of career change that comes with a clean exit interview. Anna could also be warning him that Sidwell (Carlo Rota) still has reach from behind bars and may not be finished with Sonny yet.

And after Jason’s (Steve Burton) similar news about exiting the mafia shocks Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), she asks, “Do you really think you can walk away?” Jason may believe putting Danny first means leaving Sonny’s business for good, but Port Charles has never been particularly respectful of retirement plans. Between old enemies, Britt, and whatever comes next, walking away may prove easier to announce than to actually do.
