Laura returns after an extended break from Port Charles.
In addition to Laura finally returning to Port Charles, General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, October 9, focus on Anna and Jason clearing the air. Also, Sonny briefs Kristina.
When Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) traveled to Africa to track down Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), we pretty much lost track of them. Instead, we followed Jason (Steve Burton) and Anna (Finola Hughes) as they successfully found Lucky and brought him home. Who knows what Kevin and Laura were even up to on their sudden sabbatical?
Hopefully, Laura won’t take long to explain her whereabouts now that she has returned to Port Charles. What kept her and Kevin away for weeks? More importantly, who will tell her that Lucky’s not a viable donor for Lulu (Alexa Havins)? The Mayor will no doubt come up with an instant plan of attack.

Meanwhile, Lucky is reeling from the news that he’s not the donor. In self-destruction mode, he caused chaos at Bobbie’s after throwing all the customers out. Next up on his downward spiral, he asks Jason for help in getting him back to Africa. We know that’s a bad idea he’s making at an emotional time. Who will stop him from leaving? His mom?
Elsewhere, Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) and Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) conversation turns into a briefing. Provided she hasn’t messed things up for her mom, who’s trying to protect her, will she listen to her father?

Anna and Jason have another conversation. The agenda for their latest discussion is clearing the air. They will definitely debate and analyze the meaning of that East African kiss. Well, Anna will do most of the talking since Jason doesn’t say many words. What conclusions will they draw?

Finally, Carly (Laura Wright) and Brennan (Charles Mesure) have been spending much quality time together. Even though he has a job as the station chief for the WSB’s Port Charles office. Also, she finds herself in the midst of a fake situationship. Look for these two to meet up again. It looks like the reason is harmless. A simple dinner where they’ll get to know each other better. What about that private detective that Martin hired to tail Carly? What will she witness? Anything?
