Drew Suffers Setback
Although it’s unclear how much Drew (Cameron Mathison, who has a new holiday movie on deck) knows about Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) scheme involving Monica’s will, he sure is benefiting from it. As a result, Ronnie (Erika Slezak) has agreed to sell the Quartermaine house to him. Of course, the congressman showed up in person to deliver the news to the Qs, something they didn’t appreciate at all.
However, on Friday, the weekly teasers reveal that Drew suffers a setback. It would be great if this means the purchase of the mansion somehow gets called off. But the setback could involve any of his tricks, ploys, or maneuvers. What threatens to ruin Drew’s good mood?
Laura is Dismayed
Unfortunately, Laura’s (Genie Francis) mood is about to take a turn as well. So far this week, she confronted Drew, calling him out on his nasty behavior towards Danny (Asher Antonyzyn). Then, she offered up some words of wisdom to Curtis (Donnell Turner).
If Laura is suddenly dismayed, as the teasers suggest, this could be related to her mayoral gig. The election is getting closer, and perhaps it’s time to get back to the business of this Measure C mandate. The story has been on simmer as of late, but November is here, and it’s almost time for the people to vote.
Britt Gets New Orders
Ever since her “resurrection,” Britt (Kelly Thiebau) has been floundering a bit. She did get a job back at GH, but since she can’t practice at the moment, she’s in a position she feels is beneath her.
Look for Britt to get new marching orders. According to GH’s weekly video preview, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) makes a change (on whose orders we have no idea). Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) is out, and Britt is in. So, she will apparently be the go-to person for whatever cold fusion experiments are going on in that lab. How will this affect Emma (Braedyn Bruner), Gio (Giovanni Mazza), and Team Teens’ plans for stopping Dalton?
Brennan Makes a Proposition
And how long before Brennan (Chris McKenna) gets wind of this change? This guy has a lot on his mind, although he has no clue that a world of hurt is coming his way. Carly (Laura Wright) is out to save her daughter and bring down Brennan in the process.
And for a guy who prides himself on being ten steps ahead of everything and everyone, this could end up being embarrassing if he doesn’t figure it out as soon as possible. But for now, he has other fish to fry. His immediate agenda includes making a proposition — who is on the other end of this deal?
Tracy and Lucy Remember
Finally, Tracy’s focus has understandably been on Monica. But on Friday, Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Lucy (Lynn Herring) once again reminisce about someone they have in common: Alan (the late Stuart Damon). What triggers this nostalgic walk down memory lane?
