General Hospital Spoilers October 17: Sam and Dante Finally Breathe Easy…For Now

In addition to Sam and Dante feeling relieved, General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, October 17, focus on Tracy offering her assistance to Cody and Ric playing dirty.

Relief

Lately, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) looks worn from worrying about his dad, his sister, and especially his ex, who’s lying comatose. His worries are about not being able to come through for his son. He’s unsure he can save Rocco’s (Finn Carr) mother. But the solution will hit closer to home than he ever thought. Sam (Kelly Monaco) is the match for Lulu.

Thankfully, it’s all good news. Dante and Sam are relieved. They know that Sam is not just a match but a viable donor. When Terry (Cassandra James) originally told Sam about this, Sam looked happy but worried that she hadn’t tested earlier. Ultimately, the path to bringing Lulu back is clear, but will there be a cost?

Sneaky Moves

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) decides to tap into his dark side again and play dirty. Because this is Ric, his dirty dealings could do with several scenarios: 1) Heather’s (Alley Mills) case and those tampered results. 2) Everything and anything to do with Sonny (Maurice Benard). And 3) Something that will lift up his daughter over Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) daughter with his brother. Also, because this is Ric, it could be all of the above all at once.

Meanwhile, Holly (Emma Samms) has some explaining to do. Brennan (Charles Mesure), Anna (Finola Hughes), and Jason (Steve Burton) suspect that Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) reign of terror must have a purpose. Will Holly fess up to stealing the diamonds from the crime lord? Or does the “explaining” have to do with the fact that she’s Sasha’s mother?

Game-Changing Situations

Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) gets life-altering news, which she probably needs after getting into so many tense conversations with Tracy (Jane Elliot) at the Quartermaine compound. When she opens the door to her mother — Holly — how will they act with each other? What will Holly tell her?

Finally, Tracy knows that Cody (Josh Kelly) would never ask her for money. He doesn’t want her to think he is close to her for her money. There’s no way that Cody 2..0 wants anybody to think he’s running a con. After discussing this with Sasha, Tracy must offer her assistance to give Cody the down payment he needs to buy Serenity. Will he be too proud to accept? And will he be too upset when he learns how she spoke to Sasha?
