It’s a week of unexpected arrivals and life-changing shockers in Port Charles. Here are the three major moments to watch out for on General Hospital.
Erika Slezak Arrives In Port Charles
Long-time ABC daytime fans were thrilled to see One Life To Live alum Erika Slezak make her GH debut during Friday’s cliffhanger when Tracy (Jane Elliot) found Slezak’s character in the Quartermaine crypt. Tracy will start the week giving Slezak, who is said to be playing Veronica Bard, an icy welcome. By mid-week, when Monica’s (the late Leslie Charleson) will is read, The Quartermaine clan is going to be in for some shockers.
Nathan News Travels
Another unexpected arrival in Port Charles last week was Nathan (Ryan Paevey), who mysteriously returned from the dead and shocked his sister Nina (Cynthia Watros), his former boss Anna (Finola Hughes), and his mother-in-law Felicia (Kristina Wagner). On Monday, look for Felicia to break the news to Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who will once again feel he needs to vie for Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) heart.
At the same time, Nina will inform both Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) that Nathan is alive and back in Port Charles, shocking the mother and daughter who have been at odds.
Is Portia…Pregnant?
On Thursday, Portia (Brook Kerr) is teased to receive life-changing news. Of course, considering her current situation, this could be a number of things. It could be that she’s a suspect in Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting, or that her position as GH’s Co-Chief of Staff is in jeopardy now that Britt is back, or that Heather (Alley Mills) is back with a vengeance.
All that said, this news is looking for personal. After Portia rekindled things with Curtis (Donnell Turner) in bed, then later hooked up with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) in her office, it’s not a far jump to assume she’s pregnant. But the question remains…who’s the father?
