Stunned and Frustrated
Carly (Laura Wright) was already gobsmacked once this week, when she found Sidwell’s secret safe at Wyndemere. Well, prepare for her to be gobsmacked again. She and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) are currently planning a dinner that will bring their families and Brennan (Chris McKenna) together. So what causes this stunned reaction?
It couldn’t possibly be the same thing that causes Brennan to voice his frustration. The man likes to think of himself as ten steps ahead of everybody. But in this current climate, he isn’t very effective. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) has been shacked up in Carly’s attic for weeks and weeks, and the Port Charles Station Chief has no idea. He also has no idea that they are trying to bring him down.
His young WSB recruit refuses to stay on the sidelines. Joss (Eden McCoy) is actively investigating dangerous matters under the radar. Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) is in the middle of a breakdown in a French facility. And she’s a good person to have on your side when dealing with crime warlords like Sidwell and out-of-control WSB directors like Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
It’s understandable that he’s frustrated. But who does he voice his concerns to?
Hurt and Comfort
Meanwhile, Jason (Steve Burton) comforts Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). Maybe it has to do with the pregnant patient with the suspicious tattoo. Britt is already showing vulnerability with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), and now she’s needing some TLC from Jason. The dark and tragic circumstances of her life are getting to her. And there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight.
Not when she’s dealing with Sidwell and Cullum, who are holding those life-saving meds over her head. Britt needs a win right about now.
Plans and Realizations
While Lulu has a realization, look for Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) to make a plan. This could also have to do with the pregnant woman they brought to the hospital. She was in a bad way when Brook Lynn and Chase found her. They made sure to take her to GH, and Brook Lynn especially became invested in Delilah’s (Lily Cardone) well-being.
But if Delilah (Lily Cardone) doesn’t make it, then plans need to be made, and lives could be changed forever.
