General Hospital Spoilers June 28: Jason and Carly Clash in Best Friend Blow-Up

General Hospital spoilers for Friday, June 28, focus on characters clashing while others get closer. Plus, Brook Lynn and Chase make a big decision.

Clash of the Port Charles Titans

It should be surprising that Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason’s (Steve Burton — who reveals what he’ll never do again on GH) relationship takes a momentary turn for the worse. But we’re not shocked. These two have a lot to hash out. And they need to do so now.

Thanks to Sam (Kelly Monaco), Carly knows that she’s the leverage Cates (Adam J. Harrington) holds over Jason’s head. The leverage that caused him to stay gone for 2 1/2 years. And now Jason must know that she knows. On top of this, he probably finds out that she went to Brennan (Charles Mesure) and told him everything about this whole situation. From Carly’s perspective, she might feel that her best friend should have clued her into this leverage business when he got back to town or even before. How will the two resolve this conflict? And which one offers to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) about all of this madness?

Inner Circle Revisions

In the beginning, Carly was out, and Nina (Cynthia Watros) was in. Then Nina went by the wayside in favor of Ava (Maura West). Now Ava’s experiencing the ice-cold life outside Sonny’s inner circle. Guess who’s stepping in to bask in the warmth of being on the inside? Natalia (Eva LaRue), that’s who. Look for Sonny and Natalia to get closer.

Speaking of Ava, she needs to align herself with other women as opposed to Sonny as she is. The safest bet, and someone she is still on good terms with, is Laura (Genie Francis). When Ava seeks out Laura, will she get the mayor on her side, or should she have to go to court to fight for custody of Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola)?

Tough Questions and Big Decisions

Finn (Michael Easton) is gone, and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) are set to make a big decision. Is this about moving into the Quartermaine mansion on a more permanent basis? Just how big is this mansion anyway?

Finally, Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez — who recently coordinated an outing to a drag brunch) has some tough questions for Kristina (Kate Mansi). Kristina worries about Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) domestic partnership. She wants to make plans should her sister’s relationship end. Right now, Molly doesn’t have any claim on the baby whatsoever. Kristina wants to rectify that. Alexis questioned her daughter the other day. Is Blaze asking her the same type of questions? What does Kristina’s girlfriend want to know?
