General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, June 19, focus on a big return, which kicks a potentially big reveal into gear. Meanwhile, Alexis gets big news while Brook Lynn ponders her options, and Stella encourages Chase.
The biggest news of the day: Mac (John J. York — find out more about his return here) is back in Port Charles. It has been roughly six months since the character went to Argentina to work on a hush-hush assignment.
Now that the assignment is (hopefully) over and done with, there’s business to be tackled. There’s a little matter of Mac being Cody’s father. Lately, Cody (Josh Kelly) has reflected on his life and not having a dad, and he seems close to making a big reveal. He’s talked to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) about it. On Wednesday, however, look for him to turn to Tracy (Jane Elliot) for advice. Hopefully, this means the “It’s a boy” news will drop sooner rather than later.
Actually, there’s another announcement that we’ve been waiting for, which concerns Alexis’s fate as a lawyer. Yes, it’s time to find out whether her trip to Albany was worth it. Will Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) be the bearer of good news or bad news when she hands Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) the envelope? (GH EP Frank Valentini hints at a major return here)
Meanwhile, Stella (Vernee Watson) encourages Chase (Josh Swickard). Does he turn to everybody’s favorite sounding board for help with handling Finn’s (Michael Easton) spiraling? Chase is overwhelmed by this entire situation, and somebody needs to help him see the path he must take with his brother. Before said brother hits rock bottom.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Natalia (Eva LaRue) are the bonders in question. Apparently, the two continue to spend time together. We last saw them at Chase and Brook Lynn’s wedding. How will the two bond this time around? More importantly, will Ava (Maura West) figure out how to interfere in their fun? (Please say yes.)
Finally, the ponderer in question is Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Much like half of Port Charles during the last six months, she attempts to reflect on her options. Will she, ultimately, choose between music and her executive spot at Deception? Maybe she will decide to pivot to something completely new. You never know in this town. There’s clearly something in the water causing people to make a total 180. After all, Alexis wants to quit journalism, Drew (Cameron Mathison) is running for Congress, Sasha is the Quartermaine chef, and Curtis (Donnell Turner) is the newest health and wellness guru.
