General Hospital Spoilers July 9: Sasha Spies Scandal

General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, July 9, focus on secrets, scandals, and suspicions.

Eye Spy a Scandal

The GH writers must have made Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) the Quartermaine chef for a reason. First, it gets Sasha interacting with many characters on the canvas, so she’s not such an isolated character. Second, it keeps her close to Cody (Josh Kelly), the Quartermaine’s stable manager, who’s what to her? Are they together? It’s still a bit unclear.

And now, a third reason rises to the surface. It’s so Sasha can stumble upon a secret or two. Presumably, on Quartermaine grounds, she witnesses something scandalous. And it just might look a lot like she spies Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) sharing a moment. A moment that will surely cause drama and chaos should said moment come to light.

Suspicious Minds

Elsewhere in Port Charles, Trina (Tabyana Ali) feels suspicious. Do her suspicions continue to involve Ava (Maura West) and her perplexing behavior lately? Or does it have to do with Laura (Genie Francis) and her perplexing behavior over this whole Heather (Alley Mills) metallosis diagnosis? Or maybe she’s feeling suspicious because she’s worrying about these women when she should be figuring out Spencer’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) alive right about now. Just saying.

Trina’s parents are apparently working through their issues right now. Suddenly, Curtis (Donnell Turner) defends himself to Portia (Brook Kerr). Is this because he visited Heather in prison? Or is this because he visited Heather in prison and is now sympathetic to Laura’s side of things? Inquiring minds want to know. And once we do know, we will judge accordingly. Secrets and Missions

There are already a million secrets waiting to explode in Port Charles. What’s one more? At the Quartermaine manse, Lois (Rena Sofer) shares one with her bestie, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero). Here’s what we need to know: On a scale from 1 to 10, how scandalous is this secret? Did she witness something juicy à la Sasha? Or is this a secret about something going on with her? Furthermore, is this secret worth keeping on the down low?

Finally, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) finds a new mission. Does it involve what Cody may or may not reveal to her this week? Or does she take the lead on finding Deception a new Face? Or, at the very least, an interim Face until Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) can stitch her life and career back together.
