General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 3, focus on characters doing some confronting, confiding, and consoling.

No Holding Back

For Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), this whole Invader article triggers her inner Mama Bear. First, this scandal affects her daughter. Second, she loves unleashing the side of her that seeks justice. Third, the situation also involves people she doesn’t like, including Ava (Maura West) and Adrian Dewitt (Dieterich Gray).

Unsurprisingly, we’re about to see Alexis get confrontational. She’s already gone after DeWitt. Does she know Ava’s behind this leak? Is this who she goes after? Or is this a moment that requires some face time with Blaze’s mom?

Upsetting News and Points of View

It’s time for Natalia (Eva LaRue) and Sonny (Maurice Benard — who recently remembered his late costar Johnny Wactor on SOM) to hash out this hot mess of a scandal. Does Sonny come from an understanding place with Natalia? He may take a softer approach since she confides in Sonny. What does she have to say for herself?

Elsewhere, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) has had a pretty uneventful summer so far. She works as a lifeguard at the Metro Court Pool. She moved into a new apartment with her bestie, Trina (Tabyana Ali). And she and Dex (Evan Hofer) are in a solid place. Unfortunately, she suddenly receives upsetting news. How upsetting are we talking?

Stepping Up

Look for Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) to provide an interesting perspective. Who is she a source of comfort for…is it Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez)? If this concerns the fallout of the Invader article, she must have valuable insight to share. After all, she knows what it’s like to deal with a fall from grace in the public eye—just saying that Sasha is no stranger to scandal, public meltdowns, and more. Does the former Face of Deception advise the new Face of Deception?

Finally, as one of Deception’s executives, Maxie (Kirsten Storms—whose ray of sunshine recently “helped” her as she trained) has had to handle the consequences of the article. However, on Wednesday, she focuses on stepping up for a friend. Who needs Maxie’s support this time?
