General Hospital spoilers for Monday, July 29, focus on characters making pleas, addressing important matters, and receiving an offer.
It’s Dante’s job to be THE Port Charles voice of reason along with its most valuable detective. He’s a solid presence, and everybody’s rock. He’s honest to a fault and has tried to be there for his dad even though their day jobs exist on opposite sides of the law.
But it doesn’t matter because Dante (Dominic Zamprogna — who celebrated a milestone earlier this year) will do anything to help save his dad, even if it’s from himself. And so, on Monday, look for him to plead with Sonny (Maurice Benard). As we all know by now, Sonny’s in a dark place due to circumstances, plus those tampered-with pills he takes for his bipolar disorder. Does Dante beg his dad to stop this madness and forget about unleashing war against Cates (Adam Harrington)? If this is the case, will he be successful?
As for Carly (Laura Wright – whose character’s decision shook PC), she’s about to receive an offer. Does Michael (Chad Duell) and Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) team-up pay off? Does Congressmen McConkey (Sam McMurray) come through for them? As a result, maybe Carly is served a deal that could get her out of this mess without any sort of prison sentence.
Meanwhile, Carly’s other half, Jason, visits the PCPD. Jason (Steve Burton) knows this building well, but this time, he’s probably there to help Carly. There’s no reason to believe he’ll be arrested…unless he turns himself in to save his bestie from going to prison.
The surrogacy story has been cranked up to eleven thanks to the Perez Hilton interview and TJ (Tajh Bellow) and Molly’s reaction afterward. Subsequently, they dropped a contract in Kristina’s lap. If she signs, she terminates her parental rights and allows Molly (Kristen Vaganos) to adopt. She doesn’t want to sign. Now, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is suddenly addressing an important matter with Kristina (Kate Mansi — who recently got engaged). Hmmm…what could this be about?
Finally, TJ is flummoxed. Yes, flummoxed. Molly probably conveys to him that Kristina won’t sign the parental rights papers because she thinks that he and Molly aren’t in a good place relationship-wise. That she wants to make sure they’re on more solid ground before she signs. Apparently, she feels that by doing this, she is protecting Molly’s interests. What will TJ’s next steps be in the wake of this news? Will he confront Kristina on his own?
